DISTINCTIVE ATTRIBUTES OF THE PROJECT:
Ø STRONG CONNECTIVITY OF THE PROJECT IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS:-
Delhi bye passing Western Peripheral Expressway also known as KMP expressway passes through the project and thus connecting all the National Highways in the NCR i.e NH-2, NH-8, NH-71 and NH-10. The state highway 15-A is proposed to be developed as National Highway which is passing along the project from the western side. For the sake of the project, it has been proposed that in the project area a 2km railway link will be developed from Farrukhnagar Railway Station to a PFT (private freight terminal). For the effective movement of the cargo from the PFT towards the Indian western ports and Rewari, Gargi Harsaru station is being planned for upgradation. Once the development of Dwarka Expressway i.e Northern peripheral road is completed, the distance from the IGI (Indira Gandhi International Airport) to MET via NH-8 and SH-15A will be minimised to only 30km from presently 50km. Near MET project area 2 KMP roads interchanges. Through the project area, 2 MDRs (Major district roads) with 4 lane median divided passes among which from the North East Bahadurgarh connects and from the South East Gurgaon. MDR 123 connecting Jhajjar in North West and on the west to Najafgarh in West Delhi.
Ø RESIDENTIAL NATURE:-
Residential nature of the project is being worked on to make it enable to accommodate individuals and to make it as a self-contained integrated city that would interest people to work, stay, live and enjoy there. Residential developments are planned to increase the level of affordability, making it a smart staying place for all kinds of skill set individuals. The planning is to make a colony where people can walk to work means staying close to the family as well as office. For both plotted development and Group housing, Plots are available.
Ø COMMERCIAL PLOTS:-
Within the licensed industrial colonies of the MET various premium commercial plots of varying sizes at strategic areas are being planned. These commercial plots will serve or meet the needs of both Industrial commercial wholesale markets and residential retail.
Ø LOGISTICS HUB:-
For safe and quick transportation of the goods and materials in a large industrial township, access to rail network both domestically (within-country) and internationally (outside country) is of extreme importance. For that Rail transport clearance and a PFT (private freight terminal) in village Khaliqpur has received. The PFT will be joined with the Northern Railway line at Garhi Harsaru and from there onwards to Indian western ports via DFC (Dedicated Freight corridor) via spur at Rewari and existing lines. Detailed Project Report (DPR) approval is still in process with Indian Railways and ESP (Engineering scale plan) have already been cleared. Land for logistic park and siding is available while the land is under acquisition by the state government for establishing the last mile connectivity to the Northern Railways. In close to the spaces of cities like Gurgaon, Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar and Delhi this PFT will be a major amenity created within NCR.
RELIANCE INDUSTRIAL PLOTS IN GURGAON INFRASTRUCTURE STRENGTH
There are 3 factors which are important for Reliance industrial plots project. All those 3 factors have been arranged sufficiently for the project:-
Ø ELECTRICITY:- State distribution grid will Meet the power needs of the project. Good reliability of power will be ensured as the project will establish 220 KV GIS substations and these are connected with the national grid. Haryana is working hard and is dedicated to becoming a power sufficient state.
Ø GAS: Another important factor for any industrial project is gas. To meet the gas requirements, GAIL (Gas Authority of India Limited) has laid down a pipeline connecting it with MET (project)
Ø WATER: Third most important factor is water is being facilitated to the project from the recently constructed NCR channel. Work to bring surface water is under operation but till then to meet the water requirements, CGWA, Government of India has given permission to abstract the groundwater.
