These included 35 for Kundli plots, 2 for Manesar and 20 for Rai.
The HSIIDC fixed the floor rates of these plots at Rs. 19900 per square meter at Rai, Rs. 22,500 per square meter at Manesar and Rs. 27,600 per square meter at Kundli. The average bids of the plots in Manesar were Rs. 22,800 per square meter, Rai was Rs. 40,000 per square meter and Kundli was Rs. 60,000 per square meter.
The Kundli industrial area was spread over more than 500 acres. It is a part of the Amritsar-Delhi-Kolkata Industrial Corridor. It has an advantage of Delhi-Sonepat Rapid Regional Rail Transport System and is also a destination of the Delhi Metro Extension. Kundli is surrounded by Rai and the proposed commercial and industrial township – SuperSmart city on 3300 acres near Kharkhoda in Sonepat district and IMT, Badli in Delhi. This will result in more demand for industrial plots in Kundli.
FUTURE PROSPECTS AND DEVELOPMENT
Because of the rapid growth in residential population, the government upgraded Kundli village to a municipal committee. Kundli is going to become the next hot destination for industrial investment.
